This Antique Nursing Chair is really awesome. This chair is so nice that you ma prefer to use it is more like a decoration than a rocking chair.

Pretty sure it is made of Oak, and leather piece in the seat is original. This is a very sturdy and nice antique nursing chair with a very beautiful carved design in the wood, 7 Banister Rails on the back. In spite of its great age it is still in a great condition. Though it has some scratches from usage and age.

Antique Nursing Chair

This is a great antique English mahogany nursing arm chair. It features a wonderful back with a scalloped accent with inlaid scroll designs, inlaid gallery, and inlaid curved slats with gorgeous floral and scroll designs. The top of the chair appears to have been repaired but it does not make it less beautiful and is not distracting at all. It has firm and comfortable seat and back which are upholstered with a wonderful fabric that is greatly adorned with colorful floral designs with golden around the edge. This chair has very nice inlaid curved arm rests with attractive turned supports, a scalloped seat rail and wonderful tapered legs with inlaid designs and spade feet. The chair was made in 1905 and in spite of its age it is overall in very good cosmetic and structural condition and it is strong and sturdy and shows very minor age appropriate signs of wear and imperfections. It is a very nice and beautiful chair that will blend in well with any decors.
